Katie is a highly skilled and trained Chartered Physiotherapist with over 12 years experience assessing and treating musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and sports conditions/injuries in both the NHS and private sector.

She is registered with the Health & Care Professional Council (HCPC).

Trained in Acupuncture and Sarah Keys Technique, she also has other specialist training in manual therapy.

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a mind body conditioning exercise program that targets deep postural muscles of the abdomen and spine to improve overall central core staibility and posture.

Pilates suits all ages and fitness levels and is particularly beneficial for those with back pain, poor posture, sport injuries and arthritis. It is also grat for injury prevention or for those who simply want to tone and strengthen their bodies.

Back in Control Pilates & Physiotherapy practice Matwork Pilates. These classes are based on the mat and follow a repertoire of APPI (Austrailian Physiotherapy Pilates Insitute) Pilates method exercise. The APPI technique of Pilates instruction ensures the safe and scientifically researched movement patterns are learned.
